Overview
Freya is designed for the room that wants softness without losing its shape, a bench with curved lines instead of hard angles. Its performance fabric seat in oatmeal sits on a solid rubberwood frame with a fine wirebrush finish, bringing Scandinavian-inspired warmth to an entryway, bedroom, or living space. For anyone seating two at the foot of a bed or beside a console, Freya offers a quiet, considered alternative to a hard bench or an oversized ottoman. Freya's oatmeal upholstery is rated to more than 100,000 rubs, a performance fabric benchmark that means the seat resists wear from daily sitting far longer than a standard decorative fabric. Curved arms and gently rounded edges echo the Scandinavian minimalism behind the design, softening what could otherwise be a boxy silhouette. The solid rubberwood frame carries a fine wirebrush finish in brown, a hand-applied texture that adds depth and warmth without competing with the fabric. Multi-Functional Versatility: Fits an entryway, foot of bed, or living room accent seating Design Style and Aesthetic Fit: Scandinavian minimalism with curved arms and soft rounded lines Premium Materials and Craftsmanship: Solid rubberwood frame with a fine wirebrush finish Seating Capacity and Comfort: Curved, cushioned seat comfortably fits two adults Scale and Room Fit: 60 inches long, a natural fit at the foot of a queen bed Durability and Construction Quality: Performance fabric rated for more than 100,000 rubs of use Pairing and Placement Flexibility: Pairs well with consoles, headboards, or a pair of accent chairs Curved, Arm-Supported Design: Rounded arms add gentle support without a bulky boxed frame Ease of Care: Performance fabric resists daily wear better than standard upholstery Assembly and Setup Ease: Arrives fully assembled and ready to sit on immediately Freya arrives fully assembled in a single box, so it is ready to sit on as soon as it is unpacked, with no hardware or tools to manage. Mercana backs the piece with a 90-day product warranty, and Freya is designed for residential use. Because the fabric and wood finish are applied by hand, slight variation in texture and tone between individual benches is normal.
